Cannot into sync music between PC and phone. Want to use WMP to batch transfer files, but all I get is an error. I can drag and drop, but I don’t want to have to hunt for all those files. I have 60GB of music, nothing works to manage it well.

Also, how can I make the cursor disappear when I type? I that setting enabled, but it’s still there when I start typing.

I generally use Spotify. Works for local files too. Although lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble with their shuffle/track order system. Shuffle keeps repeating songs, and non-shuffle keeps jumping around.

The things I miss after moving from WP7 to WP8.1:

Zune.

Seriously, Zune did all of this for you and it was flawless . Trying to do the same with WP8.1 has been a pain in the butt; I get the same error message as you and I don’t have a workaround.

I cannot figure out why they just gave up on Zune. I know iTunes has the market, but an already installed program that works better will win fans quickly.

And WMP blows on 8.1. When you have lots of music, you want to be able to manage it. Why can’t we do this with an effing Windows Phone!?

Not everyone wants to stream all the time. I would much rather have locally stored music available on my phone. I guess I’m not enough people to have this feature.

That’s what I’m saying. It works for local files as well. You tell Spotify where to look for your music, and then which of it to sync to your phone.
